Pastor Dave Coleman

Coleman Family
Kathy, daughter Hannah, Pastor Dave
Pastor Dave Coleman was born into a loving Christian home in Indiana. He became a follower of Christ at age 15, was called into ministry shortly after, and was graciously challenged to pursue God's calling on his life. Many Godly people have been mentors and encouragers in his life, and he is grateful for their love and support.
His educational journey took him to Asbury College, Indiana Wesleyan University and the Nazarene Theological Seminary. Following his studies, he served in the United States Air Force as a chaplain. Upon completing his military career, he had the privilege of church planting for 3 years, serving in the Bethel Park Free Methodist church for 9 years, and the Clarkston Free Methodist church for 13 years.
His passion for ministry centers on three primary callings in his life. First, to communicate the Scripture as God's Word in a faithful and relevant manner. Second, faithfully shepherd God's people. I love and believe in the local church. Third, to lead God's people to reach a lost and hurting world.
The Lord provided a wonderful companion in life and ministry in his wife Kathy. She truly loves the Lord and God's people. She serves beside me faithfully. The Lord has also blessed us with three daughters. Our daughter Holli went to be with the Lord at the age of fourteen. We miss her much, but find strength in knowing we will see her again! Our daughter Kristin is a physical therapist assistant and lives in Davison, Michigan. Our youngest daughter, Hannah, is 15 years old and is going to be a freshman this fall.
In recent days, we have truly sensed God leading us to be a part of the Countryside family. We are so looking forward to our future here and serving the Lord with you!!
